Vintage Watches

The watchmaker Jacques Didisheim-Goldschmidt had his eyes  in the future the moment he started his watch manufacturing plant in 1860. Seeing more attractive opportunities, he before long relocated to La Chaux-de-Fonds. Jacques' son, Bernard, succeeded his father, and built Juvenia Watches into a  business enterprise.
In 1914, the Juvenia Watches presented the most compact movement built on a single level, with a diameter of 9.5 mm for a height of 2.5 mm. Juvenia Watches went on making contributions to the history of the timepiece with remarkable case designs and different time indications.
The 1940 "Mystere" model, for instance, had a cover over the arbor for the hands. The "Trigone", from the 1950S, came with big triangular hands. As early as the 1940S, Juvenia Watches was targeting consumers who worked with numbers. The "Arithmo" released in 1945 as a wrist watch, pocket-watch or desk clock, assured "trouble-free calculation," justified by a practical slide-rule. In 1988, Juvenia Watches went under the management of Asia Comercial Ltd  Hong Kong.
